About Me

I’m Ellis, a recent graduate from the University of Dayton with a degree in Media Production and a minor in Film Studies. I have a deep passion for filmmaking and storytelling, with a specific interest in lighting, cinematography, and editing.

I recently worked on a student-led, now Student Emmy Nominated, documentary, "Placed – The Journey Through Foster Care", where I helped shoot and sound design over 20 interviews across the Midwest. I also helped create the film’s opening hook, from lighting to sound design. The short was recently nominated for a student Emmy!

I’m currently looking for opportunities in production or post-production, and I hope to build a career as a Director of Photography or Video Editor one day — but I’m always excited to be part of a film set in any role!
